Our personalized books are purchased and created by adults for children. Our website and personalization tools are intended for parents, legal guardians, and other adults who have permission to provide the information required to create a personalized book.

Information Used to Personalize a Book

To create a personalized book, we may ask the adult purchaser to provide limited information about the child, such as:

• a photograph of the child;

• personalization choices selected by the purchaser; and

We use this information to create and display the personalized preview, produce the final book, fulfill the order, provide customer support, and maintain the security and operation of our service.

Permission to Upload a Child’s Information

By submitting a child’s photograph or other personal information, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have authorization from the child’s parent or legal guardian to provide that information for the purpose of creating the personalized product.

Children should not submit photographs or personal information directly through our website.

How We Share Personalization Information

We may provide the information necessary to create and fulfill your personalized book to service providers that assist us with functions such as website hosting, personalization technology, image processing, printing, order fulfillment, storage, and customer support.

These providers receive information only as necessary for the services they perform on our behalf and are subject to the terms and safeguards applicable to our relationship with them.

We do not sell a child’s photograph or personalization information.

We do not use a child’s photograph for advertising or promotional purposes without separate permission from the parent or legal guardian.

How Long We Keep Personalization Information

We retain personalization information only for as long as reasonably necessary to create the preview, produce and fulfill the order, provide customer support, protect against fraud or misuse, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.

When the information is no longer required for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our data-retention practices.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us to request access to or deletion of personalization information associated with their order, subject to applicable legal requirements.
